An exceptionally elegant and beautifully proportioned Edwardian mahogany occasional table, dating to circa 1900–1910.

Crafted in the refined Sheraton Revival style, the square table top features a striking central inlaid satinwood patera (fan motif), framed beautifully by delicate boxwood and ebony stringing. The table stands on four slender, gently splayed tapering legs. These are securely braced by sweeping geometric X stretchers that support a square under-tier display shelf.

The wood displays a rich, warm grain pattern and a lovely authentic patina. Standing at 72.5cm in height, this sophisticated piece is perfectly scaled to serve as a decorative lamp table next to a sofa or an accent plant stand in a timeless contemporary or traditional interior.

Presented in very good antique condition. The structure is stable, firm, and free of any major wobbles. The wood finish shows a beautiful aged character, with some light, expected surface marks to the top and minor historical bumps/scuffs to the lower sections of the legs, all consistent with its genuine age and gentle use over the last 120 years.
